Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department
Emergency Medical Services

The Vial of Life Program is designed to help provide medical information in emergency situations that we encounter. The actual Vial holds a medical information card that has all the important information we would need if the patient is unable to communicate with us for whatever reason. The Vial should be kept in the freezer / refrigerator (Our program asks for the freezer). If a household participates in this program, there will be a decal placed on / near the front door and one on the refrigerator.

Our program has also created Wallet Cards. These cards hold important medical information, but are designed for people to carry them in your wallet, purse, car, etc. These forms are not given inside the Vial itself, they are given out separately.

If citizens need help with this program or need additional forms, they can call Fire Station #1(281-996-3360) during business hours to request assistance.
